She is a graduate of Columbia University (New York City) and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY). She did her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Hospital (Baltimore, MD), where she also had a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
